All events are held in the Library or Function Rooms (Avalon Rec Centre, 59a Old Barrenjoey Road) and cost $7 per person which covers refreshments. Copies of the authors' books are available for sale and signing on the night

OUR PRESENTER: Margot Lindgren worked as a Teacher-Librarian in NSW Primary schools for 33 years in a variety of settings from small rural schools to her last role at Avalon Public School. She has a passion for children’s literature which she shares through her blog – Momo Time to Read. It now has over 1500 book reviews. She adds several new titles (Australian books and International titles) each week ranging from Picture Books through to middle grade novels. Margot is currently the National Secretary of IBBY Australia (International Board on Books for the Young) and she is also a member of the Children’s Book Council (NSW Branch). In retirement Margot is a regular volunteer at Westmead Children's Hospital in their Book Bunker and she works as a reading tutor in a local school. In addition to her teaching qualifications Margot has a MEd in Teacher-Librarianship and Post Graduate qualifications in Children’s Literature.
